INVENTOR ACADEMY

Welcome to Coco Academy’s very first Inventor Academy, an 8-week class is designed for aspiring inventors and entrepreneurs ages 8+.

The first 4 weeks of this session will focus on honing the skills needed to create a truly unique and inspiring invention using technology like 3D modeling, 3D printing, Laser cutting, Circuitry and engineering fundamentals.

The second half of the class will operate much like Shark Tank. Inventors will work with our staff of designers and engineers to prototype their own inventions to pitch to a jury of Philly-based entrepreneurs. The winning pitch will receive four Open Studio sessions to continue developing their invention with the goal of packaging, marketing and selling their product.

There will be no class over Philly School District Spring Break (4/12) or Easter weekend (4/19)

*Students will have 100% ownership of any projects they develop during their time at Coco Academy

*They are not mandated to package, market or sell their products
